New electronic labeling

If you have not already heard about the new electronic labeling of all original CC-containers, we will briefly say what impact it will have on them as a customer. 10.01. 2011, all CC-containers which are delivered from Jens Holst to be labeled with the new authorized RFID (electronic tags), which fitted the same place as previously mounted identification Tack.

10.01.2011 we will as a starting point, exchange all CC, fittings and shelves. Customers even pick up / deliver goods must be scanned CC material by a Jens Holst employee, just returned equipment must be submitted in Jens Holst's transportation department, where it also must be scanned. It would thus be possible to simply put the CC material, an the container records are automatically updated via our hand scanners and verifying valid material. Refused CC containers will therefore not be received and accepted as an original chip.

Flowers for the Royal House

Royal Supplier we are not, but we supplied the flowers for the official Danish celebration of Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II. One of our good customers had been asked to deliver for the decoration of both “Riddersalen” and the adjacent premises. The task was solved with the usual professionalism characterize our purchasing department, and all the special products from all around the world was obtained without problems.
The rest of the European royal houses will also enjoy "our flowers," the next few days for the big weekend celebration for Margrethe II.
We wish Her Majesty Queen Margrethe congratulations on the 70 years and hope she enjoys the many floral creations.

Gazelle 2009

It is now 15th consecutive year that the daily newspaper Børsen conducting a survey of the fastest growing companies in Denmark - Gazelle. A gazelle is a company who over the past four years every year has had positive growth in turnover or gross profit as a whole has doubled sales or gross profit during the period.

Jens Holst A / S is obviously proud of us for the second consecutive year receiving this award.

In co-opration with Plantas A/S

Two of the biggest wholesale companies in Denmark of flowers and plants have joint their forces .

Jens Holst A/S located at Copenhagen Wholesale and Plantas A/S, located in Aarhus and Odense, have started a co-operation.

From the 15th of October Jens Holst A/S will take over all clients on Seeland from Plantas A/S.

The agreement also means that all of the 18 employees from Plantas A/S on Seeland will move directly over to Jens Holst A/S.
It is in both companies interest, that they have this co-operation, as it will enable them to grow stronger. Which also means that Jens Holst A/S will have a strong foundation on Seeland as Plantas A/S will have on Fyn and in Jutland.

We think about the inviorment

Jens Holst A/S has agreed to participate in a nice initiative, which enables us to draw your attention.
The aim will be that businesses - large and small, from all sectors - stands together to neutralize the CO2, their websites uses.

This is done by the companies together makes a purchase of certified CO2 allowances
all cleared in the Danish. The entire quota is controled by Deloitte. In addition,
invested in renewable energy, which regularly published on
the official website.

Behind Initiative CO2 neutral sites are Ingenco2.dk.
Novozymes, PFA, Owners DS Norden, Femilet Others are among the many who
already participating.
